Most companies have a need, to some degree, to create and control special pricing for the items they sell to their customers. Thankfully, Solid Route Accounting™ for QuickBooks can fulfill this need in several ways, providing any company the flexibility they need to keep their pricing accurate. The sections below outline these various methods and how they can be accomplished.

Manually Adjust Prices at Time of Sale

All QuickBooks users can grant their route salespeople the ability to modify the price of the items they're selling at the time of invoicing those items. To enable this ability in SolidRouteAccounting.com, in [Mobiles], select the desired mobile unit record from the list. Then, in the 'Mobile Settings' area, place a checkmark in the 'Can Edit Sale Price' checkbox or even 'Can Edit Suggested Retail Price'. [Save] that change, and sync the handheld computer. Now, when adding items, they can adjust the amount in the 'Override Price' or 'Suggested Retail Price' field.

Customer Discount Percentage

Also available for QuickBooks users, Customer Discounts allows administration staff to set an upper limit on the percentage that their route salespeople can grant a customer as a discount at the time of sale. When saving the invoice, the route salespeople can then enter a discount percentage field indicating how much this customer will receive off their invoice total, up to the maximum set in their mobile unit record. Price Levels in QuickBooks

A great feature is extending the Price Levels available in QuickBooks to control the special pricing for customers within Solid Sales Pro™. Price Levels allow pricing to be set by percentage or an individually specified price for any customer within the QuickBooks company file. This special pricing is then extended to Solid Sales Pro™ through Solid Fusion™.
