Article #281 Configuring Intermec CN3 Barcode Scanner for Solid Sales Pro

Out of the box the Intermec CN3 barcode scanner does not work seamlessly with Solid Sales Pro™. The following configuration changes need to be made:

  1. When scanning a barcode on the 1130 Selected Items screen, the scanner adds a zero (0) in front of all barcodes, and Solid Sales Pro™ says "No matching barcode found!":

    On the CN3 handheld tap on [Start / Settings / System / Intermec Settings] then go into Data Collection -> Internal Scanner -> Symbologies -> EAN/UPC. Scroll down until you find "UPC A xmit as EAN 13" option and disable it. Save these settings.

  2. When scanning a barcode on the 1130 Selected Items screen it does not automatically advance to the 1133 Barcode Details screen:

    On the CN3 handheld tap on [Start / Settings / System / Intermec Settings] then go into Data Collection -> Internal Scanner -> Symbologies Options -> Postamble and enter the following "\x0D". Save these settings.
