Article #252 Screen Problems: How to Test or get Repairs

If you are experiencing difficulties with screen response on mobile computers, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Ensure Screen Alignment:
    • In Janam XP30 – From the Home screen select Prefs. From the Prefs drop down, select Digitizer and run through the alignment carefully.
    • In Janam XM65/66 – From the Home screen select Start, Settings. From the System tab, select Screen then Align Screen. Follow the prompts.
  2. If Incorrect Response to Above:
    • If you cannot get any response from the digitizer and have ensured the battery is sufficiently charged, then you will need to send in for repairs.
